Javier Pons Promoted to Chief Content Officer at Telemundo

Telemundo has promoted Javier Pons to Chief Content Officer and Head of Telemundo Studios, effective April 1, 2025.
Pons will report directly to Luis Fernandez, Chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.
His expanded role includes oversight of the entertainment division, encompassing scripted and unscripted content, daily shows, and live specials.
Pons brings over 30 years of international media experience, including leadership roles at Globomedia and The Mediapro Studio.
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity and emphasized his commitment to producing innovative and engaging Spanish-language content.
