Former Cowboys Tight End Leads High School Team to Perfect Season and First Title in 16 Years

Jason Witten, former Dallas Cowboys tight end, led Liberty Christian High School to the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Division II state championship with a 52-10 victory over Regents.
Witten's team, the Warriors, finished the season with a perfect 14-0 record, outscoring opponents 716-96.
The closest margin of victory all season was 28 points.
Witten's two sons, CJ and Cooper, were top performers on the team's defense.
This is Liberty Christian's first title since 2007 and Witten's first championship win in his football career.
