• Bennie Safdie received the Silver Lion for best direction for The Smashing Machine.
• Toni Servillo won the Coppa Volpi for best actor for Paolo Sorrentino’s La Grazia, and Xin Zhilei took best actress for Cai Shangjun’s The Sun Rises on Us All.
