Japanese Kindergarten's Missing Shoes Mystery Solved: Weasel Caught on Camera

Fears of a human thief prompted police to install three security cameras at the school to investigate the incidents.
Footage captured on November 11 revealed a weasel sneaking into the school, scattering shoes, and stealing one to carry away.
Experts suggest the weasel was likely using the lightweight canvas shoes to line its nest, possibly after giving birth or preparing for winter.
The school has since installed netting over the cubbyholes to prevent further thefts, though the weasel remains at large.
