Japanese FIFA Referees to Officiate Eight Matches in Germany’s 3. Liga and Regionalliga Bayern

Overview

  • Koki Nagamine and Yusuke Ohashi will each officiate one 3. Liga match on both the second and third matchdays of the upcoming season.
  • The pair will also oversee four Regionalliga Bayern fixtures during their stay in Germany.
  • Specific match assignments will be announced shortly before each game and all on-field communication will be conducted in English.
  • The referees are based in Frankfurt until the end of August and are participating in the Bundesliga referees’ summer training camp in Ankum.
  • The program stems from a partnership established over two years ago by DFB Schiri GmbH and the Japan Football Association, following recent German referee deployments in Asia.
