  • Gregory Yetman, a former New Jersey National Guard sergeant, has surrendered to police after being on the run for several days. He was charged with various offenses linked to the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
  • Yetman was subject to a manhunt in New Jersey that involved local police, the FBI, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. He turned himself in without incident to Monroe Township police.
  • The charges against Yetman include assaulting officers, obstructing law enforcement during civil disorder, entering and remaining in a restricted building, engaging in physical violence in a restricted building, and committing acts of physical violence on Capitol grounds.
  • The authorities launched the manhunt for Yetman after he reportedly fled as agents attempted to serve him a warrant. He allegedly eluded arrest by fleeing into woods near his home.
  • An initial court appearance for Yetman is expected to take place in Newark, New Jersey, and a federal arrest warrant was issued for him on November 6. Authorities offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
