Major closures include January 1 for New Year’s Day, January 26 for Republic Day, and regional holidays like Lohri, Pongal, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary in specific states.
Bank branches in Mizoram and Sikkim will also observe holidays on December 31, 2024, for New Year’s Eve festivities such as Lossong and Namsoong.
Digital banking services, including UPI, mobile apps, and ATMs, will remain fully operational during bank holidays, allowing customers to conduct transactions and manage accounts online.
