• The Wondaland Arts Society’s program brings immersive music, film, art and fashion events to Los Angeles throughout October with select installations running into early November.
• Vampire Beach debuts on October 30 at a secret location for 1,000 guests, produced with Bacardi, Vacation and Wingstop, with costumes required for entry.
• The Nightmare Before Christmas in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl (Oct. 25–26) features Danny Elfman as Jack, Janelle Monáe as Sally, Keith David as Oogie Boogie, Riki Lindhome as Shock and John Stamos as Lock.
• Additional highlights include The Brains Behind the Blood discussion at USC on Oct. 20, Wondaween Game Night at The Spare Room on Oct. 23, and The Archive Bites Back screening on Oct. 27.
• Monáe Manor continues through Nov. 2 at LA Haunted Hayride, and events mix free RSVPs with ticketed offerings, with many listings requiring or strongly encouraging costumes.
