  • Jane Morgan died peacefully in her sleep on August 4, 2025, at her home in Naples, Florida, at age 101, her family confirmed.
  • A Juilliard-trained lyric soprano, Morgan was discovered by bandleader Bernard Hilda in 1948 and became known as the “Toast of Paris” after club performances in France.
  • Morgan’s 1957 single “Fascination” launched her mainstream success, and she went on to earn six gold records.
  • She appeared a record 50 times on The Ed Sullivan Show and was a fixture on 1950s and ’60s television variety programs, also starring in Broadway productions such as Mame.
  • Morgan married manager Jerry Weintraub in 1965, adopted three daughters and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.
