Schwieterman's death followed a brief battle with an aggressive form of stage 4 cancer, which was diagnosed shortly before his passing.
Born in Bluffton, Indiana, Schwieterman was a proud Eagle Scout before pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles.
In addition to his acting accomplishments, Schwieterman pursued artistic hobbies such as photography and painting, and enjoyed traveling, including a recent trip to Thailand.
His funeral was held on March 4, 2025, with his family requesting donations to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in lieu of flowers.
