Jan. 6 Rioter 'Sedition Panda' Convicted on All Charges

Jesse James Rumson found guilty of assaulting a police officer and other charges, sentencing set for September.

Jesse James Rumson, known as 'Sedition Panda,' convicted on eight charges related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Rumson assaulted Prince George's County Cpl. Scott Ainsworth, a lifelong Republican, during the riot.
U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols dismissed Rumson's defense arguments as 'absurd' and found the evidence 'crystal clear.'
Rumson's sentencing is scheduled for September, and he remains free until then.
The Justice Department has prosecuted over 1,200 cases related to the Jan. 6 Capitol assault.
