Lee Giobbie, a New Jersey financial adviser, faces federal charges for his role in the Capitol attack.

  • Lee Giobbie, a 40-year-old financial adviser from Eastampton, New Jersey, was arrested by the FBI for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
  • Giobbie was identified by online users using facial recognition tools and photos showing him wearing a Philadelphia Eagles beanie at the riot.
  • Giobbie was one of the first rioters to reach the central steps of the U.S. Capitol building, where he led chants and directed the mob, according to an FBI affidavit.
