Jan. 6 Capitol Attack Suspect Gregory Yetman Surrenders After Two-Day Manhunt

Former New Jersey Army National Guard member Gregory Yetman, charged with multiple offenses including assaulting officers during the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, turned himself in to Monroe Township Police after a two-day manhunt, with his first court appearance expected on Monday.

Yetman is charged with multiple offenses related to the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, including assaulting officers. The specific charges have not yet been made public.
The FBI had offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to Yetman's arrest. The manhunt involved armed officers and a SWAT team.
Yetman had served in the New Jersey Army National Guard for 14 years until March 2022. He is one of over 130 people with military backgrounds who have been accused of committing crimes during the Capitol attack.
Yetman's first court appearance is expected to take place on Monday. He had previously fled from authorities when they attempted to serve him an arrest warrant.
