- The highway closure, ordered by District Magistrate Ramban, will last from 8 am April 27 to 8 am April 28 for widening and repairs.
- Heavy rains and a cloudburst on April 20 caused landslides that buried vehicles and severely damaged the Maroog-Seri stretch of NH-44.
- No vehicular movement will be allowed after 5 pm on April 26 from Qazigund or Udhampur, with special advisories for perishable and livestock carriers.
