Jammu Police Investigate Deaths of Law Student and Unidentified Woman

Authorities have opened inquest proceedings after completing postmortems to determine what led to the two unrelated deaths.

  • Separately, villagers discovered the body of an unidentified woman aged about 35 near an irrigation canal in Kotli Charkan village of the Bishnah area.
  • The woman’s body showed a cut mark on the throat and has been transferred for identification and postmortem as a police investigation continues.
