• Key restructuring includes addressing staffing imbalances in the J&K Housing Board, enhancing scientific capacity at the Lakes Conservation & Management Authority, and strengthening town planning functions under the Town Planning Organisation.
• The reorganization also targets administrative realignment in the Srinagar Municipal Corporation and Urban Environmental Engineering Department to address urbanization challenges and modernize infrastructure management.
• The Jammu Development Authority's restructuring plan has been approved by its Board and forwarded for administrative clearance, with similar proposals across other HUDD agencies awaiting final approval.
