Overview

• Over 1,400 students participated in Kishtwar’s inter-school zonal competitions, featuring athletics, kabaddi, chess, and more across six zones.
• Reasi district hosted 400 students in volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, wrestling, and other events, inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik.
• Budgam’s inter-school tournaments included inclusive sports for differently-abled students and emphasized fitness and anti-drug messaging.
• Udhampur’s events, held under DG Rajinder Singh Tara, featured 260 athletes in table tennis, basketball, football, and chess competitions.
• Since April 2025, over 30,000 students in Reasi alone have participated in intramural competitions, with 4,000 progressing to inter-school levels.
