Overview

• On July 22, Rhodes stepped on a loose screw in the villa garden and was first treated by on-site medics.
• Medics recommended further care and he was taken to a Majorca A&E for assessment and treatment.
• Filming was briefly paused while production staff searched the garden for any additional hazards.
• Rhodes returned to the villa bandaged but in good spirits and was deemed fit to resume his role in the show.
• With no further safety incidents reported, normal production has resumed ahead of tonight’s Love Island Festival on ITV2.
