  • Overton sustained a broken right little finger attempting a caught-and-bowled in the eighth over of the first ODI at Edgbaston on May 29.
  • Despite the injury, the 31-year-old returned to claim career-best figures of three for 22 in England’s 238-run victory.
  • An ECB statement confirmed Overton will undergo rehabilitation under the England medical team and miss the last two ODIs and three Vitality IT20s.
  • England will not add a replacement, relying on pace options Saqib Mahmood, Brydon Carse, Matthew Potts and Luke Wood for the remainder of the series.
