Jamie Leweling Extends VfB Stuttgart Contract Through 2029

The 23-year-old national player’s new deal removes his release clause while increasing his salary, solidifying his role at the Bundesliga club.

Jamie Leweling has signed a contract extension with VfB Stuttgart, keeping him at the club until June 30, 2029.
The new agreement eliminates the previous release clause, reportedly valued at €20-25 million, in exchange for a salary increase.
Leweling joined Stuttgart on loan from Union Berlin in 2023 and became a permanent player last summer after a strong debut season.
The winger’s rapid rise included earning his first call-up to the German national team in October, where he scored the winning goal in his debut match against the Netherlands.
Currently sidelined with a thigh injury since November, it remains uncertain if Leweling will return for Stuttgart’s final match of the year against FC St. Pauli on Saturday.
