James Gunn's Superman: Legacy Pre-Production Progressing Smoothly

Over 90% of the Cast Finalized for the First Movie of the New DC Universe, Set for Release in July 2025

James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, has provided promising updates on the pre-production of Superman: Legacy, stating that it is going 'swimmingly' with sets being built, costumes being finished, actors studying roles, prosthetics and VFX models being made, and flights booked.
Superman: Legacy, which will be a retelling of Superman's time as a young journalist in Metropolis, is set to be the first movie for the new DC Universe.
More than 90% of the cast for Superman: Legacy has been finalized, including David Corenswet as Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
The costumes and concept art for the movie will be ready by the time shooting begins.
Superman: Legacy is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 11, 2025.
