James Gunn's DCU Chapter One: Gods and Monsters Set to Launch with Superman: Legacy

James Gunn's DCU Chapter One: Gods and Monsters is set to launch with the animated series Creature Commandos, followed by the live-action film Superman: Legacy, which is about to start production.
Superman: Legacy will star David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, among others.
Superman: Legacy will not be an origin story, but will focus on Superman's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing.
Superman: Legacy is set to release in theaters on July 11, 2025.
James Gunn has also hinted at the development of new projects, with at least two more gearing up to go into production in the next couple of months.
