No Plans Yet for Next James Bond Movie as Producers Focus on Character Reinvention to Reflect Modern Times

Franchise producer Barbara Broccoli revealed that producers have not started planning the next chapter of the James Bond series following Daniel Craig's departure.

Despite rumors and speculations on who the next James Bond would be, the next actor to play the role will not be announced soon because the character needs to be updated first according to Broccoli's preferences.
Although Amazon, who now controls the franchise, is debuting a Bond-themed show on Amazon Prime Video, Barbara Broccoli emphasized the Bond movies are made for the big theatrical screen and they are not interested in moving to television.
