The James Beard Foundation announced the 2024 America's Classics Award winners, recognizing locally owned restaurants that embody the character of their communities.
Winners include establishments from across the United States, such as Mandalay in San Francisco, Vietnam Restaurant in Philadelphia, and Sylvia’s Restaurant in New York.
The awards celebrate restaurants that serve quality food, have timeless appeal, and have been integral to American food culture.
The recipients will be honored at a ceremony at Lyric Opera of Chicago on June 10.
This year's winners join the ranks of over 100 restaurants that have received the America's Classics Award since its inception in 1998.
