Jallikattu Season Begins in Tamil Nadu With Pudukottai Kickoff

  • In Andhra Pradesh a day earlier, jallikattu in Tirupati district led to injuries, with an official and RUIA Hospital noting three admissions while police reported at least five injured.
  • Approximately 200 bulls were brought to the Tirupati arena from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, according to local reports.
