Overview
- Line 4 will open on December 15 with full service and will be free to ride for the first 15 days.
- Line 5 is slated to begin operations no later than April 30, 2026 with two main routes, including an airport–Chapala corridor that links to the Mi Macro network and connects to Line 3 at Belenes.
- A second Line 5 route will run along Chapala Road, Álamo Industrial, González Gallo, Parque Agua Azul, Washington, Mariano Otero and López Mateos, serving key commercial and industrial areas including Nexo Guadalajara.
- Line 4 spans more than 21 kilometers between Tlajomulco and the south of Guadalajara with an end‑to‑end run of about 35 minutes and stations such as Periférico Sur, Adolf B. Horn, Concepción del Valle and Tlajomulco Centro.
- Officials say the projects will be coordinated and operational by the promised dates, with Tlajomulco’s mayor welcoming the move as a boost for travel times and local economies.
