• Saxena confirmed on Instagram on September 9 that he has played his last game in Kerala colours.
• He joined Kerala ahead of 2016–17 and featured in 125 matches across formats, scoring 3,153 runs and taking 352 wickets for the state.
• In first-class games for Kerala he made 2,252 runs and took 269 wickets at 20.68 with 23 five-fors, the second-most first-class wickets for the state behind KN Ananthapadmanabhan's 310.
• During Kerala’s 2024–25 Ranji Trophy run to the final against Vidarbha, he became the first to achieve the competition’s 6,000 runs and 400 wickets double.
