Jake DeBrusk Adjusts to New Team at Canucks Training Camp

The former Bruins winger experiences nerves and excitement as he begins his first season with Vancouver.

Jake DeBrusk, after seven seasons with the Boston Bruins, felt nervous as he joined the Vancouver Canucks for the first day of training camp.
DeBrusk signed a seven-year, $38.5 million contract with the Canucks on July 1 and is expected to play alongside star center Elias Pettersson.
DeBrusk aims to build chemistry with Pettersson, who praised DeBrusk’s combination of skill, physicality, and work ethic.
The Canucks also added several other players in free agency, including forwards Danton Heinen, Kiefer Sherwood, and Daniel Sprong, as well as defensemen Derek Forbort and Vincent Desharnais.
Head coach Rick Tocchet commended the team's veteran players for welcoming the new additions and fostering a supportive environment.
