- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Prime Minister Luc Frieden and discussed deeper cooperation in financial services, investments, technology and innovation, thanking him for support for stronger India–EU ties.
- He held delegation-level talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel, calling Luxembourg a very important partner and highlighting collaboration in finance, digital, AI, space and talent mobility.
- Addressing the Indian community in Luxembourg, Jaishankar predicted a 2026 upswing in India–Europe relations and said Luxembourg’s goodwill would help as the EU free trade negotiations progress.
