Jaishankar, Qatar PM Review Strategic Partnership in Doha

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha on Sunday.
The discussion reviewed key elements of the India–Qatar strategic partnership covering energy, trade, investment and people-to-people ties.
Jaishankar said they exchanged views on developments in the Middle East/West Asia as well as broader global issues.
Qatar News Agency reported that both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, with no new agreements announced.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs cited bilateral trade of USD 14.08 billion in 2023–24, and Al Thani also serves as foreign minister.
