- He said the 12-point initiative launched at FIPIC-III is progressing well, covering areas such as healthcare, renewable energy and cyber security.
- Jaishankar also held separate talks with counterparts from Mexico and Cyprus and met leaders from the Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, Palau, the Solomon Islands and Tonga.
- Created in 2014, FIPIC links India with 14 Pacific Island countries to advance development cooperation and regional engagement.
