Overview
- India’s Ministry of External Affairs said the January 4–10 official trip is underway with initial engagements in Paris.
- Jaishankar will meet French leadership and hold talks with Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on progress under the India–France Strategic Partnership and global issues.
- He will serve as Guest of Honour at the 31st French Ambassadors' Conference and deliver an address in Paris.
- Following France, he will travel to Luxembourg for meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel and other senior leaders.
- His program includes outreach to the Indian community in Luxembourg and cooperation spanning defence, civil nuclear, space, the Indo-Pacific, maritime security, digitalisation and cybersecurity.
