Jaime Moore Confirmed as LAFD Chief, Backs Independent Lachman Fire Investigation

Overview

  • Los Angeles City Council voted 12-0 to approve Moore, and Mayor Karen Bass swore him in on Friday.
  • Moore told councilmembers one of his first actions will be to commission an external review of the department’s handling of the Jan. 1 Lachman fire.
