Jaguar Builds Its Last Gas Car, Ending ICE Production

Order books for a four-door electric GT open in mid-2026 with deliveries targeted for 2027.

Overview

  • The final petrol vehicle, a black F-Pace SVR, left Solihull on December 19, 2025, and the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club says it will join the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.
  • Autocar reports Jaguar now has no combustion models in production anywhere, closing the book on its ICE era after nearly a decade of F-Pace builds.
  • The F-Pace exits as one of the brand’s best sellers with more than 300,000 units sold since 2016.
  • Jaguar says existing F-Pace inventory will support sales into 2026 as the company transitions to its next-generation EVs.
  • The upcoming Type 00–derived electric GT has been previewed with a rear-biased tri-motor setup of roughly 1,000 hp, after timelines were reshaped by an August 2025 cyberattack and leadership changes including P.B. Balaji replacing Adrian Mardell.
