Jae Crowder, a free-agent forward with 13 years of NBA experience, is reportedly close to signing with the Sacramento Kings, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
The Kings, currently holding an 8-10 record, are seeking to improve their frontcourt depth after a series of injuries hampered their early-season performance.
Crowder, who played for the Milwaukee Bucks last season, averaged 6.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 23.1 minutes per game across 50 appearances.
The veteran forward has made two NBA Finals appearances, with the Miami Heat in 2020 and the Phoenix Suns in 2021, showcasing his playoff experience.
If the deal is finalized, Crowder could be available to play as early as Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
