- On Tuesday, Olson posted a public Instagram apology and a joint reel with Guillermo dancing to Hannah Montana’s “Nobody’s Perfect” to show reconciliation.
- Both men performed on Tuesday’s live Mariah Carey Night, with Olson dancing a waltz with Emma Slater and Guillermo performing a samba with Witney Carson.

- Because Dancing With the Stars combines judges’ scores with audience votes, outlets say the social-media backlash could materially reduce Olson’s vote share and increase his elimination risk.
