Overview

  • The Tigers announced on June 11 that Jobe will undergo Tommy John surgery to repair his ulnar collateral ligament
  • Jobe reported elbow discomfort after his May 28 start against the Giants and was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right flexor strain two days later
  • The procedure is expected to sideline him for the remainder of 2025 and could rule him out for all of the 2026 season
  • In 10 starts this season, he went 4-1 with a 4.22 ERA and struck out 39 batters over 49 innings
  • Detroit’s top pitching prospect and the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 draft made his postseason debut last year with relief outings in both the wild-card and ALDS rounds
