Jack Antonoff, named Variety's Producer of the Decade, revealed that Taylor Swift was the first artist to fully trust him as a producer, starting with their collaboration on her 2013 single 'Sweeter Than Fiction.'
Swift's decision to bypass traditional industry practices and finalize their early work together without involving a bigger-name producer gave Antonoff the confidence to pursue production more seriously.
Antonoff has since become one of the most sought-after producers, working extensively with Swift on every album since 2014's '1989' and collaborating with artists like Lana Del Rey, Lorde, and Kendrick Lamar.
This year, Antonoff produced Sabrina Carpenter's first Number One single, contributed to Kendrick Lamar's surprise album 'GNX,' and co-wrote music for the Broadway adaptation of 'Romeo and Juliet.'
He continues to explore diverse projects, including a soundtrack collaboration with Charli XCX for the upcoming A24 film 'Mother Mary' and new music with Bleachers.
