Overview
- On Thursday, July 30, the Jharkhand Academic Council published the official compartment timetable and a downloadable PDF on jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
- The supplementary window runs from August 7 to August 14, 2026, with Class 10 papers scheduled August 7–12 and Class 12 papers scheduled August 7–14.
- Exams will be held in two daily shifts—first shift 9:45 am to 1:00 pm and second shift 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm—and all papers will use an offline pen-and-paper format.
- The board released a subject-wise date sheet covering language, science, maths, vocational and elective papers and advised candidates to verify subject codes, exam centres and admit-card details before appearing.
- Compartment exams give students who did not clear one or more subjects an immediate route to improve marks and continue their studies without repeating a year, and candidates should follow the JAC notification for centre-specific instructions.
