JAC Expands T9 Ute Line With Two Cab-Chassis and Two Osprey Variants for November Launch

JAC aims to lift sluggish sales by targeting tradies, novated-lease buyers with tailored payloads.

Overview

  • Four additions—Tradepro CC, Oasis CC, Osprey and Osprey X—expand the T9 range to six models at Australian dealerships from November 2025.
  • Tradepro and Oasis cab-chassis drop the tub and offer up to 1165 kg payload excluding tray for custom toolboxes, service bodies and equipment.
  • An aluminium 1910 mm by 1800 mm drop-side tray with 250 mm sides and a mesh headboard will be supplied initially, with heavier-duty tray options to follow.
  • Osprey variants add a power sunroof and a revised suspension tune, with the Osprey X gaining blacked-out styling, and both are set to a 980 kg payload to meet novated-lease thresholds.
  • All variants keep the 125 kW/410 Nm 2.0-litre diesel, ZF eight-speed auto and BorgWarner dual-range 4×4 with rear locker, with final pricing to be confirmed closer to launch alongside seven-year warranty and support programs.
