Ja Morant Identified as Victim in Burglary Targeting Pro Athletes

The Memphis Grizzlies star had over $1 million in valuables stolen in December by a group charged with orchestrating nationwide break-ins.

Ja Morant's home was burglarized on December 19, 2024, while he was playing in an NBA game against the Golden State Warriors.
The burglars stole jewelry, watches, and luxury bags valued at over $1 million, according to an FBI complaint filed in January 2025.
Morant is one of several professional athletes targeted by a group of seven men, who are now facing federal charges for conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property.
Other victims of the burglary spree include Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, Bobby Portis, and an unidentified Tampa Bay Buccaneers player.
Some of the suspects were arrested in January during a traffic stop in Ohio, where stolen items and incriminating evidence were discovered.
