Overview

• The fire erupted around 3:20 PM on August 15 in a 600 m² bodega storing mattress-manufacturing materials at Avenida del Recreo and Chimalpopoca in Barrio Los Reyes
• Approximately 60 firefighters supported by 15 units used foam retardant to contain and then fully extinguish the blaze later that day
• Police and Protección Civil teams closed roads and evacuated nearby residents while CFE crews cut power to prevent electrical risks
