- Rhode Island, the CAA champion and No. 9 seed, will host NEC winner Central Connecticut State on Nov. 29 at noon, with the winner to face No. 8 UC Davis on Dec. 6.
- Yale (8-2) earned the Ivy League bid and visits No. 15 Youngstown State on Nov. 29 at noon, with the winner headed to No. 2 Montana State on Dec. 6.
- Harvard received an at-large berth and opens at No. 12 Villanova on Nov. 29 at noon, and the winner is slated to play No. 5 Lehigh on Dec. 6.
- New Hampshire (8-4) will play at No. 14 South Dakota State on Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. in another New England entry to the bracket.
- The FCS field features 24 teams with 11 automatic qualifiers and 13 at-large selections; North Dakota State holds the No. 1 seed and the championship is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026, in Nashville.
