The Croatian Midfielder Ends His Second Stint at Sevilla After Making a Record 323 Appearances

Ivan Rakitic has ended his second stint with Spanish club Sevilla to join Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia.
Rakitic, who played for Sevilla from 2011-14 and returned in 2020, made 323 appearances for the club, making him the international player with the most appearances for the club.
During his time at Sevilla, Rakitic helped the club win two Europa League titles, in 2014 and 2023.
Rakitic was also a part of Barcelona's treble-winning team in 2014-2015, winning the LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
The 35-year-old earned 106 caps for Croatia between 2007 and 2019 before retiring from national duty in 2020.
