Overview

• The agreement runs from 2027 to 2030 and guarantees 117 live days each year across ITV1, ITV4 and STV, with all programming simulcast on ITVX and STV Player and including The Opening Show.
• Coverage will feature the Grand National, the Cheltenham Festival, Royal Ascot and the Derby, with at least five races from each flagship fixture shown on ITV4.
• ITV has served as racing’s terrestrial partner since 2017, and the new term extends the relationship to 14 years by the end of 2030.
• Industry bodies including the BHA, Racecourse Media Group, The Jockey Club, Arena Racing Company and Ascot publicly welcomed the deal and praised ITV’s production and reach.
• ITV reported strong 2025 audiences and streaming, with a 5.2 million peak for the Grand National, five million viewers across Royal Ascot’s five days, and more than 15 million ITVX streams for racing this year.
