ITV Confirms Single Covent Garden Studio for Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women From January 2026

ITV says the consolidation will reduce costs to fund premium genres, including expanded news.

Overview

  • The three programmes will move to The H Club in Covent Garden, leaving Television Centre for a shared space across two floors in a private members’ club.
  • All shows will use one gallery with rapid turnarounds, and the new 360-degree LED set is designed to give each programme a distinct look across roughly 900 live hours a year.
  • Production will be combined under a single daytime team, with ITV stating the programmes will remain editorially distinct.
  • From 2026, Lorraine drops to 30 minutes and runs for 30 weeks, Loose Women shifts to a 30‑week seasonal run, and Good Morning Britain gains 30 minutes to cover the reduced slot.
  • The overhaul forms part of broader savings reported at around £15 million, drawing criticism from former Loose Women panellist Sherrie Hewson over potential effects on older and vulnerable viewers.
