Overview

• The four-part series has been commissioned by ITV and is written by BAFTA-winning screenwriter Jeff Pope through his Etta Pictures banner.
• Daniel Mays is set to portray John Worboys, who was convicted in 2009 for 12 sexual assaults linked to over 100 suspected victims.
• Aimée Ffion-Edwards, Aasiya Shah and Miriam Petche will play three of the women who fought to have their allegations investigated.
• Julia Ford will direct the production, which is entering pre-production and will begin filming in Cardiff with backing from ITV Studios and Creative Wales.
• Believe Me will expose Metropolitan Police failures that allowed Worboys to continue offending and spotlight the enduring trauma of survivors denied justice.
