Overview

• Daniel Mays leads the cast as John Worboys opposite Aimée-Ffion Edwards, Aasiya Shah and Miriam Petche portraying three of his survivors.
• The four-part series was commissioned by ITV drama chief Polly Hill and scripted by BAFTA winner Jeff Pope for production by Etta Pictures and ITV Studios.
• Filming is underway in Cardiff with backing from the Welsh Government through Creative Wales to support regional production incentives.
• The drama will examine how Metropolitan Police investigative shortcomings allowed Worboys to remain free and the victims’ long struggle to have their allegations taken seriously.
• Julia Ford directs the factual thriller, which has commenced production but has not yet been given a broadcast date.
