ITIA Provisionally Suspends Jana Fett After Positive Test for Three Banned Substances

She has not appealed the December 22 order.

Overview

  • The International Tennis Integrity Agency says a sample collected during November’s Billie Jean King Cup playoffs in Varaždin tested positive.
  • The prohibited substances named were ostarine, LGD-4033 and GW501516, classified under anabolic agents and metabolic modulators on the 2025 Prohibited List.
  • The provisional suspension bars Fett from competing, training or attending events sanctioned by ITIA members, including the WTA, ATP, ITF, Grand Slams and national associations.
  • Players may appeal to an independent tribunal chair, and the agency confirms Fett has not done so.
  • Croatia’s tennis federation publicly voiced support for Fett, with its president expressing belief that any ingestion was unintentional, while Fett has not commented.
