ITBP Expands LAC Footprint to 215 Posts, Plans 10 All-Women Outposts

The post-2020 forwardisation drive builds on newly sanctioned battalions alongside revamped training for extreme altitudes.

The ITBP will establish 41 more such forward bases along the India-China line of actual control (LAC) in the near future in order to strengthen security and coordination.
